Concrete worth looking at. Done right, the first time.
Ernest Valenzuela has been staining, overlaying, and finishing concrete across the Panhandle since 2012. Full-time specialists. No part-time generalists, no shortcuts — just craft you can walk on for decades.

What we do
Four jobs we specialize in.
Every surface is different. Every one of them ends up something worth keeping.
01 · InteriorIndoor Decorative Concrete Flooring
Stained slabs in homes, lobbies, and shops. Warm color, sealed hard, easy to live on.
02 · CustomCountertops and Custom Overlays
Kitchen counters, bar tops, fireplace surrounds. Built up, ground smooth, sealed for the long haul.
03 · ExteriorPool Decks, Porches and Patios
Cool-to-the-foot finishes that stand up to Panhandle sun, wind, and a hard freeze.
04 · UtilityGarages and Driveways
Stain, seal, or resurface. Jack stands, tires, freeze-thaw — built to take it.
Why Texas Concrete
Trained, specialized, and here every day.
Plenty of folks will pour you a slab. Fewer know what to do with it afterward.
- 01
Trained by one of the best.
Ernest got his formal training from a recognized decorative-concrete specialist — not YouTube, not on the fly. That foundation shows up in every pour.
- 02
Full-time specialists, not weekend generalists.
Decorative concrete is all we do. We are not a framing crew that stains on the side. It is the whole job, every day, for fourteen years.
- 03
Panhandle built. Panhandle tough.
We know what our weather does to concrete. Our mixes, overlays, and sealers are chosen for Borger heat and Pampa freezes — not a showroom in Austin.
Techniques
Three ways we change how concrete looks.
Existing slab or a fresh pour — there is almost always a way to make it something you are proud of.
- Technique 01
Decorative Concrete Stains
Acid and water-based stains that sink into the slab and react with it. Color varies the way wood grain varies — no two square feet alike.
- Technique 02
Thin Stained Overlays
For slabs too tired or too new to stain directly. A thin cementitious overlay goes down first, then the color goes in.
- Technique 03
Thin Stamped Overlays
Texture plus color. Flagstone, slate, wood plank, tile — stamped into a thin overlay so your existing patio gets a whole new look.
Recent work
A slice of the last year.
Recent jobs across Amarillo, Borger, Pampa, Dumas, Canadian, Shamrock, and Dalhart — interior stains, patios, garages, countertops, pool decks, driveways.
What folks say
Word gets around in the Panhandle.
Our old patio was a cracked gray eyesore. Ernest came out, walked it, told us exactly what he'd do — and a week later it looked like flagstone. Neighbors keep asking.
Honest pricing, showed up when he said he would, cleaned up every day. The floors in our shop have been down three years and still look like the day he finished.
We had three guys bid the garage. Ernest was the only one who actually explained what an overlay was and why our slab needed one. Worth every dollar.
